Hamilton Lane’s existing investment execution process relies heavily on manual workflows, leading to inefficiencies, a higher risk of errors, and a lack of transparency across teams. Without a centralized system, stakeholders have limited visibility into the status of each step in the execution process, often resulting in delays and miscommunication. The fragmented approach also makes it challenging to scale operations as the organization grows, and it restricts the flexibility needed to adapt to evolving business needs.

As the UI designer on this project, my focus was on transforming wireframes into polished, visually cohesive designs while improving usability wherever possible. I collaborated closely with the team to assess the wireframes provided and suggested UX enhancements. My responsibilities included designing interfaces that aligned with branding, accessibility standards, and scalability needs. I worked iteratively, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and ensuring that the final designs met both user and business goals.

The application serves as both a centralized workflow tool and a data management solution. It allows stakeholders to track the status of each step in real time, ensuring accountability and visibility throughout the investment execution process. The platform gives users the opportunity to provide necessary data at the right time and automatically circulate or upload information to relevant parties, reducing manual input and improving accuracy.
